Does anybody remember the "Not in My Name" petition started by the Daily Mirror when we declared war on Iraq?
I signed it myself.
Well now they are supporting the war in Afghanistan.
British soldiers are fighting for a reason.
If we are to believe the official version of events, which I never will, the London tube was blown up by four "British Muslims" armed with home made bombs made from curry powder. They didn't need any training at all to jump on a train armed with home made bombs. If Al Quaeda was behind the bombings don't you think it would have been a little more sophisticated?
And if it was so easy for these four young muslims to do this why haven't we seen a similar attack on other UK targets?
Our beloved PM has his own agenda for keeping our boys in Afghanistan and it has nothing at all to do with making this country safer.
If this war is so vital why are only seven of the Army's 248 most senior officers serving in the strife-torn republic?
I used to be a "Mirror" reader but these days I look to the internet for news.
With people like Julia Middleton of Common Purpose controlling the media, particularly the BBC, I don't feel I can trust all I read in the press or on TV.
